Welcome to Scranton Middle School

Scranton Middle School is a seventh and eighth grade school serving approximately 900 Livingston County students and their families.

Scranton Middle School is dedicated to developing highly skilled students.  We accomplish this by providing rich academic opportunities for students in the areas of English, Math, Science and Social Studies.  

We also believe that educating students is about more than core-academics.  For that reason, we are proud to offer a variety of additional courses which include world language, performing arts, visual arts, technology, physical education, health, life management and current events.  We try to maintain an elective program that provides something for everyone!

Beyond the school day, students have the opportunity to participate in rich athletic experiences, intramural activities, dramatic arts experiences, community service activities and a myriad of other after school activities.

Our highly talented staff of educators, all committed to developing successful learners, excitedly works to meet the needs of each of our learners.
